![]() The atmosphere no longer felt romantic but instead was dreadful with us having to yell to hear each other. At the same time, the music became as loud as if we were in a club. About an hour into the meal, the restaurant became extremely dark, so dark that we could barely see. Likewise, the mashed potatoes were excellent.Įven though the food was incredible, there is the reason we will never return. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and full of outstanding flavor. We ordered the 40oz steak for two that came with 2 servings of mashed potatoes. I never knew who to call on when our water glasses became empty several times or when we were waiting for the check for a long while. In fact, it seemed every server in the place came to our table for something-for water, drink order, dinner order, silverware, to bring food, and to take away items. There was no set genre and they played every type of music imaginable which didn’t help create a mood. Afterwards, we were seated and I immediately noticed that oddness of the music playing. It was probably an attempt to make more money off us by hoping we would order a drink while we waited. We arrived at 7pm and the hostess made us wait at the bar for 10 minutes even though we were on time for our reservation and the restaurant was 90% empty. We felt like we were sitting inside a lovely bat cave. When we first walked in we were very surprised with the unique design of the restaurant. They would make me come back to the hotel. My husband and I were seeing Love at The Mirage and had dinner at Stack right before the show. ** Hard Rock owners and management - please keep this restaurant and staff. In spite of that surprise at the end when we went to charge it to our room, dinner was well worth the money, and I would put this restaurant at the top of my list to return to the next time we are in Vegas. ![]() You do not get points and cannot use your Fine Hotel dining credit for the restaurant if you staying at an MGM hotel, like Bellagio. Note that Mirage was bought by Hard Rock so the hotel is no longer included as an MGM hotel. Superb staff and service - like at at a five diamond restaurant. We had an older gentleman as a waiter who was top notch and all the staff including the Asian gentleman who kept our water filled and whisked away our plates quickly. Definitely shareable and one of the best tiramisus we had. The tiramisu was big with "Costa" spelled out in cocoa plus with chocolate shavings. My husband got the lasagna which was also a nice size. I got the Eggplant Pomodoro which was a nice size with small pieces of eggplant and rounded noodles cooked el dente. The beet salad, we shared, was crisp and made my body happy, it was yummy and healthy. Strong, excellent, and not too sweet or tart. I chose the standard lemon flavor and got the three for a special price savings. They have house-made limoncellos in three flavors. Las Vegas, and I hope Hard Rock will keep this restaurant when they remodel the Mirage hotel/casino. This was one of the best meals we had in. ![]() I made reservations before the Shin Lim show, and it was a good thing I did because there was a long line of people also with reservations waiting to be seated when the restaurant opened.
